How to Use Your Wallet

Generate Your Key Pair
Click "Generate Key Pair" in the Keys panel. Your Public Key is your blockchain address. Your Private Key signs your transactions.

Save Your Private Key Immediately
Copy your Private Key and store it in a secure location, a password manager, encrypted USB, or written on paper. COGNITUM never stores it. If you lose it, your funds are unrecoverable.

Your Public Key = Your Wallet Address
Share your Public Key with anyone who wants to send you COGN. Paste it into the Balance panel to check your balance. Only your Private Key must stay secret.

Receive COGN
Share your Public Key to receive COGN from another user or admin. Transactions appear in the Balance panel under Transaction History.

Send COGN
Fill in the Send panel: From (your Public Key), To (recipient), Amount, and Fee. Click Sign then Submit Transaction.
Critical: Your Private Key is visible in the Keys panel while your session is active. Save it somewhere safe before logging out, nobody, not even the admin, can recover it for you.
